This is my blog!!

This is my blog!! After serve weeks, I can tell my friend "Hey, this is my blog!! Come and have a look." Honesty, I do not have the hobbit in blogging. Although I have heard of my friends doing it, I am still blind to it. This is because I think blogging is for those who have many things and ideas want to share, or people who love to write. But now, I know it is not. It can be used by some people that are lazy and are poor in writing skills. (just like me) It can be for those who have speech but no where to speak. Here is the place for us to share opinions and ideas. No matter your identity, your age, your educational level, or your level of writing, JUST SPEAK OUT.

In the previous weeks, I have mentioned a lot about new media and how it influences us. In fact, I have never thought of this topic. I know we are living in a new world  that is well connected by new media. We can receive information rapidly. We can share own ideas easily. No matter where are you, just a button can connect you and your friends. However, there are pitfalls. Because of the convenience brought from new technology, we become "blind" to people. We know how to type but not to speak. We see each other on Facebook but not a face to face look. We are so near but so far.(Know more on my view on Facebook) Moreover, new media changes the style of writing. Teens are not required to write formally on social network. What they are using is their own language. They may not write in complete sentences or use short form. They may even create their own words that you do not understand if you are not in their circle. More terrible is they may use these informal and "self-creative" words in formal writing such as application letters. Also, new media has pushed some traditional industries to the end. In previous, I have talked about newspaper. It is not wrong for our society to move the steps forward but some how we should stop and think is there anythings left behind?

Back to the blog, I am pleased to see my afford put on my blog. Although it is not really fruitful, not many insightful ideas, but every time I open my blog, I feel delighted. It is the feeling that you grow a plant from a seed and now you see some green leaves.(Actually, I think the blog is still germinating) It is quite excited to see it grows. Also, maybe after few years, I look back and find the first post in here. I may laugh at my post that I am writing now. Just like keeping a diary, you can see yourself in there and every time you read it, you would laugh.(But blogs some how is differ from diary, at least your post will be shared by others and I will not write my secrets here) Anyway,  if someone wants to start a blog and asks me feeling about writing it, I would say"Just get a start and you would know that feel."

Here are some links that I have left comments on other's blogs:

  1. Yes!!!I totally have the same feeling of you of writing a blog. It's so excited that we are now bloggers and in this virtual world, we can share our interests to somebody who also have the same interests. Blogs help us to link each other, but also apart from others because of lacking face-to-face communication. But I think it is so good to have blogs!!!
